Imported from SouthAfrica where it is thought it had been rebuilt from a knock down kit supplied from UK . A small number of AH300 were sent to SA as crated knock down versions and then .reassembled. This car was re -imported to UK in 2001.
In 2008 it was stripped to bare metal . with doors, wings.bonnet. boot lid and all ancilliary parts removed and completely resprayed as Red over white .
Subsequent updates include : Alternator, Alloy cylinder head( Unleaded), 4 pot upgraded front brake calipers and pre-engaged starter motor.
The car is always garaged and used throughout the year . Its original South Africa registration plates are retained although it was registered on entry to the UK in 2001.
