Produced for the Japanese market in celebration of the Subaru 2004 WRC Championship and featuring Subaru’s legendary ‘Symmetric AWD’ system this Legacy GT was imported in 2017 by Torque GT with 70,000 miles on the clock.
Since being in the UK it has covered an additional 100,000 miles on it’s original engine and turbo.
It has also been enjoyed on track many times and benefits from the addition of upgraded 6 speed manual transmission, limited-slip differentials and larger Brembo calipers donated from a “Spec-C” STi Impreza.
Handling is catered for by way of upgraded suspension, poly bushings and light weight wheels.
Power is provided by a turbo charged EJ20-Y with top mount inter-cooler
This variant of Subaru’s boxer engine utilities equal length headers rather than the characteristic unequal length synonymous with the Subaru brand.
Remapped on 99 octane via rolling road to produce 330Bhp/400Nm assisted by high flowing Intake & exhaust system.
Full boost arrives quickly at 3000rpm via the twin-scroll turbo and pulls all the way to the 7600rpm red-line.
35mpg is still achievable, in-spite of the permanent all-wheel-drive and spiriting acceleration which will take the car to 60mph in a little over 4 seconds.
