This is an original, 1983 UK specification bike, bought and first registered in Bath, with only one previous owner, from whom I bought the bike in 1986.
It is in completely original condition, with no parts replaced other than the rear shock absorbers and of course silencers.
Having undergone a complete mechanical overhaul by the famous Nigel Billingsley in 2021, a crack in the fairing was then professionally repaired and repainted in totally original pattern and colours. All the other paintwork is as it left the factory. Shortly afterwards I removed all chromed parts that were showing their age, had them fully stripped back and re-chromed by D A Taylor in 2023, I
The entire bike is in terrific condition and can still cover long distances in a relaxed and loping manner! Having said that, it has covered only 40,00 miles from new, including an epic 4 week Italy trip back in 1990, with a memorable visit to the Moto Guzzi factory on the shores of Lake Como.
Now registered as a historic vehicle with the DVLA, being over 40 years old.
