A barn find in 2000 in France. Restored over many years whilst living in France and imported here when moving back to England in 2018 and finally completed and on the road in 2023. It was originally a ‘Boulangère’ van but when found on a farm in the Alsace it had been converted to a farm truck. The truck had laid dormant for an estimated 50 years so a complete rebuild down to the chassis was necessary. The chassis was shot blasted, treated and painted. The engine, suspension, steering, gearbox, brakes etc. were all stripped and rebuilt. The steel cab was largely intact but the wings were refabricated by a local company. The woodwork was mostly rotten and replaced with ash from planked trees. So with help from many friends and local companies here and in France she proves that rust to road is possible. A special mention must be given to the 01 Club in France and the Peugeot Club in France as well as Automobiles Peugeot France, and the DVLA without whose help the official identification, authentication and British registration would not be possible.
